Was stuck between the Ms906Pro and the aMs906Max for a bit. Both are Maxisys so it wasn’t obvious at first. Sent a quick message to support and they broke down the differences for me.The 906 Max is basically the newer one with stronger hardware, so l decided to go that route.Main reason for me was the screen size, I used smaller 0BD2 scanners for years and they're not great after a full day in the shop. This one is justeasier on my eyes!When it showed up l tried it on a few cars right away, Hooked up fast with no issues, it's quicker than my 8 year old Snap-On scanner. With that one you're sometimes just waiting for it to load, this one responds pretty quick.Had it about two weeks now. Makes day to day diagnostics a ittle smoother, starting and charging tests are straight forward. Reads and clearscodes without dragging, freeze frame is easy to pull up. Menus are simple enough. I've used it on a handful of jobs already and it's been doingwhat l need.

I run a small rental fleet, around 14 cars.I bought the Autel MaxiSys MS906MAX because my old basic code reader just wasn't cutting it anymore.Before this,I could read and clear codes, but that didn't really tell me what wasaactually wrong. If a car came back running rough, I was still guessing. That usually meant either trying parts one by one or sending it out and losing time.A few days after I got this,one of my SUVs came back with low power and roughidle.I ran a full system scan and it showed a mass airflow sensor code.I went into the freeze frame data and looked at the numbers fromwhen the code set.RPM and throttle position lookednormal, so it didn't seem like the car was abused.That helped me feel more confident about what I was fixing.Replaced the sensor and it's been fine since.The live data screen is whatI use most.I like seeing fuel trims,02 sensor readings,battery voltage,all updating in real time.I had another car acting strange with random warning lights. Voltage was low, swapped the battery, and the issues stopped.Seeing that saved me from chasing other problems.I also bring 906max with me when I look at cars at auction. Last time I checked out a Toyota RAV4,Porsche Macan,Chevy Silverado,Dodge Charger, and Hyundai Tucson.I'll scan them before buying.It's nice being able to see stored codes or if something was recently cleared.Makes me more comfortable spending themoney.It's not a small purchase, but for how often l use it, it rnakes sense.I scan cars when they come back from rentals,before they go back out,and anytime something feels off.It's been reliable so far and does what I need it to do.

I've tried a few cheaper scanners before this and got tired of wasting money. They look good online but once you plug into a car you realize what's missing.Modules won't load, coding options half work, connection drops. I do a lot of coding and maintenance so that stuff slows me down. My budget was around $1000 but I went over and grabbed the MaxiSYS MS906 Max. Been using it a few weeks now on US and European cars and it's been solid. CAN FD and DolP actually matter on newer vehicles, I can get into all modules without fighting it or rescanning three times. Hardware is strong too, 10" screen, 128G, big 11600mAh battery, quad core, Android 10. It runs smooth, doesn't lag, doesn't overheat after long jobs. Feels like a real shop tool, not a cheap tablet with OBD slapped on it.
