It does works and it’s good.these scanners for a long time and have tried many of them, so I can confidently say this one offers great value for the price. It’s easy to use, performs smoothly, and doesn’t slow you down.I’ve been a technician for almost 16 years and work on a mix of vehicles every week. I picked up the Autel Ultra Lite because I needed a professional tool that could handle multiple makes at a reasonable price.I used it on a 2016 BMW 4 Series, and it worked amazing. The VIN number been pulled right away. The topology view is one of my favorite features because it clearly shows which modules are communicating and where the issue might be. I was also able to access programming, coding, and setup functions. The layout feels close to factory-level software, especially for BMW. Live data is smooth, easy to read, and allows multiple PIDs without lag, which makes diagnosing intermittent issues much easier.Coverage is strong as well. The brand list supports a wide range of vehicles, not just the basics.Last but not the least, this is more than just a basic scanner. It’s a professional-level tool that can handle real shop work.
Scanner is amazing and a fraction of the cost vs the Ultra. This model Ultra Light can do everything except it does NOT have a scope which I prefer Pico and it separate than my diagnostic scanner anyways.This product has been able to diagnose every vehicle from European to Japanese to American, has some really really cool features and capabilities.Not only that but I did have a warranty issue and the seller was absolutely amazing in resolving the issue asap.There are many fake Autel a scanners online which you need to worry about, the product was 100% authentic and you can always verify on Autel website by serial number or even calling them.This is a “global” model that Autel sells and is not one that is specifically only sold in North America (USA) which basically means it is made to be sold anywhere and not a specific continent and will work anywhere, vs other models like Ultra is made specifically for North America. I had been watching this for a while and finally decided to buy it, and it arrived quickly. Autel has been rock solid for me.Interface is clean and easy to use.The first test was a BMW 5 series and didn’t connect first. I contacted support and they helped me update the VCI firmware, and it worked perfectly after that. Full scan, active tests, CBS reset all ran smoothly. The before-and-after reports make it easy to explain things to customer.Updates come more often than I expected. Support said most functions still work even after the two-year update period. Everyday stuff like oil reset, battery change, and brake service all work fine.Been using it for a few weeks now. Super smooth and no failed jobs. Fast charging dock and case are nice extras. Really happy with it and would buy again.
The Autel Ultra Lite is solid. Scanner is blazing fast, no lag jumping through modules. The big display makes it easy on the eyes, I guess I'm getting old haha but I really like that. Topology view is super clean, makes it easy to see what's going on without digging around. So far, it's been handling everything I throw at it. Definitely the best scanner!!
Works great it's literally 3 tools in one multimeter obd2 code reader and battery and starting system tester...I have the autel maxisys scanner, autel tpms scanner and this one and buy far all the tools are my favorite compared to the major tool truck tools and prices
