This is a rebadged Autel unit, but it is WAY more affordable, like the generic version at the grocery store. Setup was quick and easy, and registration was a breeze. Software renewals are VERY reasonable for what you get.Using this on a small business fleet of 10 vehicles has already paid for itself in a few months. Lost key, no problem. Lost remote, no problem. Running a little hot? Check your flux capacitor. 🤣But seriously, this is the power of a big shop diagnostic machine in an easy-to-use Android tablet. I wish there were a way to do more offline; the cabin has no internet service, which is required for several advanced functions. Caching the values and running when you have internet would be amazing. But I get it, and it's not a deal-breaker by any means.
I used to have a snap on tablet scanner, and l've used it for 5 years. However, it's more costly than this OTOFIX evoscan ultra diagnostic scanner. The main reason I bought this OTOFIX scanner is for ECU programming and coding. When I opened the package, I was so impressed with the design. It's very light and thin, which makes it easy to handle.I connect it to the car and the running speed was amazing. It's faster than any diagnostic scanners I've ever used before! The most powerful function of this scanner is Programming Customization, it's for BMW and Mercedes. This function helps to replace existing software firmware and reprogram component after replacement. This product was exactly like how it was advertised. I am really happy with the purchase, and I recommend it to everyone who want a professional scanner.
Wow this really helped with digging into the check engine light on my car, and I even showed a friend that works at a garage and he was impressed too!Diagnosing, live data graphing and I could see the sensor (MAF) that wasn't working right to get my car running right again.
purchasing this OTOFIX fvoscan Ultra was wonderful! I've used it for two weeks, and so far it does everything it need. It perfectly for itself, and the Fclu programming option is the best, easy to function. I used it on a 2010 BMW X5 to program a new air intake system. when I connected it to the BMW OBD-port, it automatically read car information quickly, and process was very smooth and stable. In addition, this scanner features the advanced topology analysis, it helps in diagnosing complex electrical issues and troubleshooting communication problems within the vehicle's network. it's cool data logging and analysis is another valuable feature. you can capture real-time data from sensors and modules in your vehicle, recording it over a specific period. this information can be analyzed to identify patterns. assisting in diagnosing intermittent issues that may not be immediately evident during live scans. if you have the knowledge and experience to take advantage of these advanced features this Fvoscan can be a valuable asset in your automotive diagnostic toolbox.
The scanners is of typical good rugged quality as you would expect from Autel and alike manufacturers, not a cheap type. Carry case is very sturdy and has extra room. It works well scanning cars and as fast as advertised. The yearly update fee is 700$. I also noticed otofix will offer coupons for at least 200$ off during special events like black friday. While the IMMO functions are not the greatest like the otofix IM1 or IM2. This scanner is all about online programming of all other modules. The 2.0 topology is very dealer like nice, not found on many other scanners, even expensive ones like otofix IM2 which is what I changed to. The seller was above and beyond supportive in my return, they were incredibly helpful, communicative, and exceeded my expectation dealing with this purchase. Any diagnostic equipment purchase should be from them, 10 stars to DiagShop!!
